Multistability

Multistability in perception is direct evidence for multistability in the brain. But the reversals in these illusions are not the reversal of a single cognitive variable, like the flipping of a binary bit, but it is observed as the reversal of a fully reified spatial structure, every point of which changes in depth with the reversal.
