It is most unfortunate that due to the fact that this epistemological issue has been neglected for so long in psychology, philosophy, and neuroscience, that there is no generally accepted terminology for it.
In psychology papers I generally see the terms "direct perception" v.s. "indirect perception." In philosophy papers I see the terms "direct realism" v.s. "indirect realism," as well as that most cumbersome of terms, "epistemological monism" v.s. "epistemological dualism." I have seen all these terms used by various people at various times, so I assume that all of them are valid and generally understandable.
